One thing you have to think about (and something which you've never addressed) is that what looked 'cute and pretty' when we all were 20, doesn't look so cute and pretty when we become women 'of a certain age'. The only time its socially acceptable to wear jeans in the Summer is on a camping/fishing/hiking trip. In fact, dressing too nice for a camping trip will give you less cred.

The slip dresses look like nightgowns. What kind of a man will you attract? Not a man of excellent character and who will bring trustworthy meaning & integrity. You are choosing to be in denial. It is way more than flirtatious. It’s more like a woman he pays for a night or weekend. He will be shallow. I had 50 yrs of a life being controlled & manipulated to always dress like that and be revealing. It was always about him & what he wanted.. and the more I did for him, the more he wanted.., it was never enough... and no real depth or true love. That’s about loving what someone can get for themselves. Perhaps you & your lady friends are looking for what you can get by sensualizing the relationship, but that’s not a true loving relationship.

What brands are the silk Espadrilles?

Pure white shorts, skirts or capris are a MF'n nightmare on my body. Sure, if you are a 5'11 Dior model like most of the photos in this video, you look great, but on me! Barf! I saw a photo of myself in white capris and I looked like a short, blobby, exaggerated pear, and I'm not a pear, I'm a typical 'hourglass'. I was so terrified I went in my drawer and threw them in the garbage immediately. For me (and probably anyone with thighs) light biege/cream and cut to flow away from the body is better. CAN YOU PLEASE INCLUDE SOME EXAMPLE OF WOMEN WITH A VARIETY OF BODY SHAPES.

I had espadrilles (Made in Spain) that were too heavy and the sole was stiff. Unfortunstely it was impossible for me to feel comfortable in them. Since then I have not bought another pair. Has anybody had better experience?

These espadrilles look amazing, and I used to love it. But how do you get to clean it? I like long walks, and they get pretty dusty after one long walk. Couldn't find a way to clean it yet, so I gave up to☹

While high fashion is delightful, it's important to consider at what price it comes. The great majority of silk comes from caterpillars boiled alive. Angora is usually harvested by pulling rabbits fur right from their bodies (while alive), only to repeat the process when the fur grows back. Sheep are tortured, their tails cut off and the entire rear ends seared with hot irons, for their wool. Many false eyelashes are made from mink, as well as fur coats, where the mink are sometimes skinned alive. Geese have their feathers and down plucked from their bodies while alive. I adore Anna and her videos; I just want to bring awareness. : )

FYI; “satin” says only somthing about the way the material is woven, it can be silk, cotton or polyester. A lot of shops call polyester satin, just satin so they can cover up the fact that is made out of polyester.

I dont like silk, satin and linen, they r so hard to take care of them they get wrinkled very easily, and u have to wash them every time u wear them.

I love silk, it is such a precious material. In fact, I prefer silk tops as it gets wrinkles but even when it does, it’s got something special in it! Silk and cashmere are my favourite materials, totally worth investing in them.

Silk is beautiful, but it does not breathe. You will sweat more in it, especially if you have long or short sleeves. For spaghetti straps, using a strapless bra shoes too many lives, even the nipple covers show a ring underneath the silk. I disagree, it’s a hard fabric to wear.

I can’t stand jeans, especially in summer. I don’t even own a pair anymore and I have no plans to ever buy another pair. They’re uncomfortable, hot and trashy, you might as well wear carharts. Men do love summer dresses. I love silk but I’m a vegan so I won’t buy it or wear it, I haven’t researched cruelty free options yet.

I used to have a short sleeved silk blouse and during the summer it would stick to me when I was sweaty and wrinkled badly. Cotton or rayon are much cooler. But I used to have several silk KNIT tee shirts that were cooler and barely wrinkled. I never see silk knit any more, sadly. Mostly it's cheaper rayon knits.

I totally agree with all your suggestions, especially about black. I’ve never seen a woman that black really looks good on, at least near the face. I think the reason we end up buying it is because many, many garments are only offered in black. I’ve been looking, in vain, for two years for white or pastel jumpsuit, there just aren’t any (except a few in polyester, which I never wear, ever, it’s so uncomfortable that I don’t considerate it a clothing fabric). I think if women just buy fewer black items, and keep requesting lighter colors, the fashion industry might eventually respond.
