@Charles Kummerer Dennis Rodman bill walton there are tons of people who averaged less did less with their careers and still made it Derrick rose i agree with even though he very well could’ve and probably would’ve been the best pg in the league had he stayed healthy but John wall has had an amazing career so far with one of the worst teams in the league he will be in the hall of fame when it’s all said and done if you watched him you would know that teams would literally have to change their zones when playing the wizards and john wall has had no good teammates to make them a title contender so the fact that contending teams had to switch up there game plan to go against the wizards should just tell you how deadly the guy was on offense not to mention his defense guy could do it on all ends of the court and he still has some gas left in the tank guys scored 10,000+ points 5,800+ assists more than any wizards player in franchise history your so blinded by the little things you’re not seeing his personal accolades guy will make in into the hall of fame hands down!

You got so many things wrong on this. One, Beal and Wall have never had beef, and I know for a fact that Beal would not demand or ask for Wall to be traded. Secondly, the hate on Russell has gone way overboard. While his playing style might not be considered a "winning" one in terms of playoffs and championship, every single time he has played with superstars (KD, Playoff P, Harden) he has never hurt them, and in many instances has improved their play. Even with a ball dominant player like uhmmm Harden, who is more ball dominant than Beal, you saw that it did not detract from Harden's play. Two, Westbrook is also a great teammate in the locker room, even though the media tries to tell you otherwise. Now, let's go to the Rockets. Wall is a great player but he is not only coming off an Achilles injury and for a player who relies on athleticism that can be really difficult to come back from, he also has not played in NBA level competition in two years! I don't care about the off season workout vids and scrimmages/runs. Even your fringe NBA player will look like they are dominating those because again they are really good at this. But once the NBA season starts, that's a different grind. Wall will need months to get back into the action, speed and physicality of the play. I have no doubt he will regain some his play but it would have taken too long and the Wizards could not have waited that long. Their goal is to do everything to keep Beal in DC, and another playoff miss would not have accomplished that. The Russ/Beal backcourt (best backcourt in the league with the unfortunate news with Klay), will make the Wiz a playoff team for sure.

Rockets should trade harden. He shouldnt be a factor in this. He's too ball dominant to let Wall shine, and the fact that he doesnt want to be there is going to lead to an even lower effort level and destroy team chemistry. Rockets need to get real about what they can get for him. See if they can get Porter and Lavine and maybe a 1st rounder from the bulls for him. Other options are out there but they need to make something happen.

Mike, I think you’re overevaluating bradley beal, you’re acting like he’s so desperate to be a ball dominant guard when the reality is that was consistently the wizards best option with no wall available. Then the way you’re talking, it’s like you aren’t making an argument beal a better player than westbrook, that it’s already been decided, but I don’t believe that at all. Beal and westbrook will work well, beal doesn’t need to be as ball dominant as harden. Harden almost mvp of the league past few years, of course that won’t work with westbrook. Does beal have same pedigree as harden? No. If beal serious about his love for washington, he’ll take a backseat when needed and come up big when called upon. He’ll have his best year, alongside westbrook and with less usage potentially. This season for beal, it’s all about beal redefining his efficiency as a player. That’s telling....Wall hasn’t played in nearly two yrs, and they have similar play styles. The rockets seen what we’ve been saying for years, they can’t win with that roster. They just keep plugging in new pgs and now they are building in the frontcourt what they should’ve been doing. I honestly believe wall is a better true floor general then Russ obviously, but this could be just what Houston needs and u add in his boy Cousins who could definitely contribute even tho his last few years have been pisspoor on and off the court. The wizards didnt have enough money to get another bonafide star to DC. They were afraid of losing Beal, their new franchise player. So when Westbrook became available, they switched up on Wall. I believe Wall got mad because the front office made it seem like they wanted him there, but soon as Westbrook was available, they changed their minds on Wall because Westbrook isnt coming off injury and is a proven superstar, no question marks about what theyd be gettin with him.
