Used to love Mykonos, but its dying. And there is a better place right next door...Just emerging

I don’t think people really realize how many billionaires are there. As of June 2020 there are 2825 billionaires, and only 3.4% are single so we are looking at only 96 single billionaires. Not even considering they are not all good looking/young. So when she talks about meeting billionaires she would be talking about only 96 guys. Just saying multimillionaires yes a lot but using the therm billionaires mmmh maybe not so much.

My dear Anna, as a Greek lady i know for sure that Mykonos is one of those -almost Ibiza or Mallorca - type of places, where people are most of the time, not older than about 25 and are the party animals, influenfers, young rich destroying their parents money etc. Most times even in a bad way, so they also tend to ruin others peace. Even Greek affluent people dont really like the Mykonos type anymore. I would for sure say that you would prefer Santorini 100% in our beautiful summer season every year. High quality, peaceful vacation with magical views and not as many young loud people rioting and not too old too.

Sorry but Mykonos are full of people pretending to be what they are not , bad food and expansive , didn’t like at all ... low class people ! Nothing to do with South of France .

I totally agree about Mykonos.I am greek and I grew up in Greece.This is exactly what's going on in Mykonos.It's very popular for tourists and people think is glamorous .That's why is even more expensive.If you like sightseeing. there're so many beautiful island where you can visit that are more worthy and you actually have sth to explore.The ones which not many people now about(except greek)are usually the best!!!

I am from Greece! I could say that everything that you said about Mykonos, it is true ! However, in my opinion Mykonos is a very beautiful island ! And of course we have the choice to go or not :)

Anna you put it perfectly ... it doesn't matter where you are in life but throwing your weight/ego around soley based on your financial strength is so unattractive. I think the same for egos strengthened by job type, social status etc. I love people that treat everybody equally regardless of their strengths, to me that is good manners. I love your angle on that whilst still doing what you do, very thoughtful 🌼🌸🌼

I am from Greece and when I was a student there were numerous budget holiday packages for students to Mykonos. The island is popular for crazy party animals, LGBT community and extravagance! That's why you saw lots of young crowds of early twenties. I never knew that it was a jet-set destination BUT you can still find famous actors and business people. They will probably hang out at the extremely expensive private beaches, where the entrance is 50euros, a beach bed and umbrella 80euros and not to mention drinks and food. Maybe those beaches don't have the sardine factor but they are totally unapprochable for poor young ladies.

I feel like once you know the signs you can basically smell new money. Not that there is anything wrong with it, just a worthy distinguishment to make.

I go to Mýkonos every year,in Santa marina actually most of the times. it’s true the best period to visit the island is at the end of July.Mykonos In my opinion is way better than Ibiza BUT you need a certain level of being well connected. An island to visit with great crowd during August is Patmos

If people work hard and become affluent as a result they can do whatever they please and show off however they please. A real lady minds her business and doesn’t try to make a point to call other people flashy and tacky.

I travel to greece frecquently my family is from there..there are many places you can go...but Mykonos is now for teenagers and 20s...considered a jet set place back in the 80s..now if you want to find rich people you must go Porto Heli where royalty and world stars visit..specially the Amanzoe Hotel and Nikki beach...its in Peloponesse...greetings..

When I was in Marbella, I barely saw any black people which was interesting and I certainly got a lot of attention. I was surprised as to how many trashy looking people I saw. What is wrong with being flashy when you have money? I don't understand. You can be flashy (not tacky) and still be sophisticated. As well, how do we know that the old money hasn't done the flashy thing and just stopped because the excitement of being rich has passed or those that are born in to it just don't not because it a bad thing, but because they just don't see the appeal of being flashy. I think people should be allowed to express themselves and enjoy their money how they want too just as long as they aren't sinning against God and their fellow men and not portraying the character flaws you mentioned. We should let people be.

you absolutely can be flashy and classy with your money. most of the crowd will be afraid to show off their things because we don't live in guarded neighbourhoods so showing off might lead to being robbed.

I was in Mykonos this July with my friends. I Loved it but, I can 1000% agree with everything said.

I also think its a lot of 'influencers' and 'insta-famous' which a lot of older folk tend to look down upon. its the future of wealth and society so we need to be open to it. nothing stays the same, and one day these influencers will be old money, its always important to remember x

As a Greek that has been to Mykonos many times, I'd say that Mykonos is definitely a destination for a younger crowd, but because it's so expensive it obviously attracts older crowds who have worked and made a fortune. I think it has to do mostly with figuring out what you want to do while on the island and finding the right spot for that. Clubs obviously attract teens and people in their twenties, but there are also bars and very expensive restaurants that are full of rich people around their 35+. My dad is in his 50s and he loves Mykonos because of the beaches and the good food but mostly because it's good for business and networking and because he has many friends who own houses there or have yachts and go every summer. Ask the locals about things you can do while you're there! They're going to tell you things that most tourists won't even know about.

Hey :) I am in Mykonos currently. Is there any nice and chic restaurant you can advice ?

I stayed in Cavo Tagoo for my honeymoon (2 years ago) and I really enjoyed the sophisticated vibe. It had a nice mix of mostly 30s plus crowd. Not too rowdy but still friendly. The clubs were a bit younger, but a lot of restaurants had fun bars and nice entertainment which I would recommend for a chiller crowd.

I wish other GRglors like Amber Scholl can watch ur videos n learn something!

I've missed you, just got back from Mykonos and I have to agree with you! The crowd is different than 2017. I went to Nammos and I was so shocked by the level of vulgarity displayed. This time, the place was invaded by cheap women with bad plastic surgery jobs. Santanna is a great place :) I've met the owner in 2017 and they are adorable, hope you still enjoy your stay!

Men that are attracted to girl of our age range aren't mature at all. They are old, immature and on the look for fresh meat. I agree with what you said about flashy new money. My husband and I are new money (nothing like billionaire, but still in the 1%), but we are unassuming and still keep our humble habits. I’m saying this because our social circle is very unassuming as well, but succeeding in the same industry. Many wealthy people don’t want to look wealthy - the flashy ones feel like they have something to prove and often have less wealth (just my experience).

@Michael Petrovich For example, I find it interesting to listen to what others consider what sort of clothes, shoes or other accessories look classy or not. I would probably never afford some accessories mentioned in some of the videos, and that does not bother me in the least, I still find it interesting to watch videos on behaviour, dress etc. I was brought up to behave a certain way so I dont need to be taught what is automatic for me and I also know how I prefer to dress, and maybe being Italian I was raised in a traditional home (not in the USA), so we never wore anything tacky. It was about classical style and not about money. One cannot buy class, never mind how much money there is. The point is, even if the videos do not influence me because I am comfortable with who I am, I still find it interesting to hear what other's think, how they view things etc. whether it is about something superficial or more related to human behaviour in general. There is always something to learn in life if one is humble and keeps an open mind. And if not, even for entertainment value.

Ppl that have some dignity & are looking for Luxurious Accommodations, top class food & beautiful scenery! @Rosa Maria's Page It's definitely a totally different experience after August, Mykonos and Santorini are very touristy, the most touristy islands in Greece actually, but Santorini is known to be a calmer place than Mykonos. If you want something beautiful, cheaper and with not that many tourists try Tinos, it's literally next to Mykonos but nothing like Mykonos, much quieter, again beautiful beaches, restaurants, quieter nightlife, great food and picturesque small villages.

@LuxuaryCollector777 I'm sure she has one or two videos on that subject already, check on the main channel page where all her videos show up. Can't remember about the workouts but I do recall she said she eats mainly vegetables or lean meat and fish. If you want workouts that makes your body look slim and lenders like hers I recommend you checking Tracy Anderson's matt workout I got really slim and defined with that one twice a week and not much diet sacrifices either.
