Ah, the Neverful ..... As a friend described .... "The bag of secretaries who have a credit card". I have never seen this in old money circles. Even LV admitted that they were horrified by the type of women buying their items and were trying to faze out many of their cheaper items. Tend to see more Dior, Chanel, Mulberry, Aspinal (nothing to do with money and everything to do with quality of leather, comfort, usefulness). An example is Longchamp Le Pliage which is a regular for the quick over the shoulder shopping tote.

Like it or not this woman is right about a lot of these choices, especially that never full. I love the alma bb but not in the monogram, the print is too over done. It just tries to scream “look at me, I’m wearing luxury” which shouldn’t be the case.

About LV and the fake items; it's the same with the Cartier love bracelet (which I love), seems like everyone owns one right now, fake or real;

I think any LV monogram bag is super tacky and so are Gucci marmonts and Prada Nylons. Whenever I step into my local mall I always see girls in either or and it's so common. I hardly see people with Chanel flaps, Lady Diors and Hermes bags which is why I prefer these bags over the other basics, it sets you apart from the rest of the crowd.

Never full is overrated! People can buy what they like but I’m glad I’m not the only one who dislikes that bag. Honestly Prada has a lot of nice simple looking bags in my opinion.

Being classy and sophisticated doesn’t defined on what things you have and wore, it is how you carry yourself. I met some people who owned designer bags but they still look really cheap. No shade!

Chanel, Hermes are not within reach of many people Anna. I agree that counterfeits of some bags like the LV Neverful are everywhere. I live in Hong Kong and LV, Gucci and many others are copied and sold here at different price points depending on the quality and how real the copycats look. I won’t buy LV monograms for the reason that people may just assume I am wearing a counterfeit. I would rather stick to globally lesser known brands which produce quality bags like Aspinal of London or Smythsons.

Prada is a decent brand for clothing . Sorry Lady , but , italy is CLASSY from head to toe .

I agree with you on most of your comments, but I do have to disagree with the Chloé and Burberry bags. I feel like both companies have rebranded themselves. I admit the TB Burberry bags were hideous and reminded me of Tory Burch a lot - but after Riccardo Tisci became the lead designer in 2018, it’s been a pretty nice game changer. They are bringing the vintage bags back, especially the belt bags and the cute bowling bags. The bowling bags remind me a lot of Givency’s Antigona bag (Riccardo’s influence definitely) but with a hint of Burberry ( their classic plaid print). I think Riccardo is doing a pretty good job in redefining the brand.
