    what’s super interesting is as a child and young teen i would handle arguments very well & with good taste but as i got older & saw my mother lash out & curse i guess i learned that it was acceptable to do that having to unlearn these habits is going to take time 😬 especially as i’m still young & living with my parents but thank you for reinforcing positive behaviour

    Therapy has definitely helped me discover and work on myself. It finally made sense of why I was acting and responding to certain situations and people in life the way that I was. Therapy isn't for "mentally sick people". It's for people who seek a solution to the tangled up things in our mind that perhaps we ourselves cannot see through until we have someone with an unbiased opinion that looks at the problem. Mindfulness and mediation has also aided me in the past and really helped me ground my emotions. But most of all it helped me be aware of my emotions and taught me not to act upon them. Through a combination of these different methods I'm actually learning to stay true to myself and just allow myself to walk away from arguments if it feels overwhelming. It honestly does help me keep my face and not embarrass myself. Thank you for this video 💗✨

    Today my old boss tracked me down with his car and started screaming at me in the middle of the street. I didn't respond but walked away. He then cornered me off with his car and starting yelling profanities. I walked away and did not respond. If he follows me again , I feel I should scream out for help but don't know if that is appropriate. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

    i am a bit dramatic and i do not know how to present something that upset me. i am dating this guy and he told me to be calm and polite when i am trying to talk to him when i am upset, i am glad he told me about it because i did not know i had it in me, i was quite masculine and was leaning towards it now im exploring and embracing my feminity..my boyfriend is a high value masculine man and i am so greatful he tells me things so calmly and politely😊

    Hi Anna thank you for insights so true when someone is purposely upsetting you and they never want to make peace they just stir the emotions they just don't want to make peace or just want to continue the differences between you both ..I think it's witchcraft they are just staring you up and almost making you hate them. Like they want you to !? So weird

    What I've learned is not to get defensive and try your best to listen to all sides. If you try to validate the other person's feelings it helps you to feel less angry because often there's a reason.

    First tip is like the base of all. Learning to centre yourself and getting into that awareness changes the game big time. Self control, knowing is the way to go to be what you want to become. How else we should do it if not through meditation and being in the awareness.

    I know I'm late but what if you did all of the breathing and switching your attention and you're calm and ladylike but the person doesn't calm down and starts becoming physically aggressive...What then???

    Whenever someone upsets me intentionally with no good intentions, I cut the discussion short and distance myself to calm my nerves and cool my brain, if I am in a situation where I can't distance myself, I'd be digging my nails in to my palm to focus on something else while keeping the discussion curt, polite and rational I don't really have anyone to vent to nor do I want to vent to anyone because sometimes my ventings and feelings rotted my rational mind and I'm afraid of getting my image ruined, so I drown myself in the sea of fiction and electronics haha

    Screaming and losing your temper will only make them enjoy themselves, they'll grab some popcorn and watch the circus unfold. You have to have that energy about you, the one that when you speak, the "offender" listens. Not only the dominating energy, but the rational line on thoughts that the other person won't debate. If you're the one that is wrong, keep your mouth shut and take it.

    Vipassana really kick-started my meditation journey. I've done two now and I highly recommend the experience. Looking expensive means nothing if you haven't done the spiritual work to align your energy with your physical expression. (in my opinion, of course.) - I'm really enjoying you videos, you have such a balanced yet empowering outlook! (on camera.. just kidding)

    I saw that episode of Housewives of Atlanta. Maybe it's not very elegant of me, but I couldn't stop laughing. To this day when I see that I still laugh.
