Instead of using the word “trashy”you could use the word “cheap”!

Alternative words to trashy: low-end, tacky, unrefined, undesirable, distasteful, off-putting, unsavory, obscene. I understand the struggle to find a better word for this. I've had to find a few alternatives to be able to express myself in a favorable way in certain conversations. Being a writer does come in handy when searching for the right words. ;)

I think that, being “classy” equates itself to being “an adult” “acting ones age” anyone that is “trashy” is not acting like an adult or acting their age. It’s so interesting to me because I can see both sides of the coin. I think energy attracts similar energy. I see a lot of people gripe and moan about what they are met with, but at the same time are doing the low-vibrational things to match it. I think it’s just hard. People want to be themselves, human, free of societal pressures but that just isn’t the reality. There is this framework of what is “acceptable” and what isn’t and it’s shifted over time (to an extent that is approved by the masses as “ok” ) and a person just has to keep up or doesn’t have to if they choose not to. The way I see it, is there is a box. Or boxes based on certain things. There is a box that is “acceptable behavior” and if you go out of the box, judged. And I do know many successful people that go out of those boxes. It’s very interesting. It’s really interesting to observe and essentially see what “flies” in certain areas. On FB there is a girl that exudes certain “trashy” traits and she’s upset that she’s getting disgusting messages. Understandable to feel that way but what she’s been doing is inviting what she is.

Can someone still look classy if they have tattoos on there arms? I made a lot of bad choices in my younger years, and tattoo removal is extremely painful and expensive, and sometimes it's not even a successful thing.

My mother is if you got it flaunt it. I adopted bad taste. Twelve years ago a lil late 40. I toned down no low cut too tight too short. My confidence in myself has tripled, I am comfortable, not fixing it all the time. I have attracted more quality men using my natural self. Dress for the occasion. A lil mystery about yourself attract quality people.

Perhaps another word can be: a negative energy people. However I am thinking that in these current times great amount of people suffer of depression, anxiety and many other mental problems and they can not control their behaviour without a treatment. And even then, people live with these sicknesses fighting everyday life against many of the symptoms.

Personally I like the word "vulgar".

I know it's late to the game but in the South, we use the word "tacky". Anything can be tacky, but when a *person* is tacky it's can imply not just that they don't match or just look a mess, but that they are trashy (i.e. they are trash).

When I was in Highschool and college, I was popular in our school..everytime the teachers, officers or any staff from school see me they will approach me and leave whatever they do or leave other people behind. if people are not getting the man they deserve or surround themselves with the right people the problem is not the way they act. There are many brats out there behaving like that, brats. The main issue here in what i say (regarding to what you said first), is that people have low self stem, no self respect nor self love, and therefore, they should work on that to start and not in pretending they are someone else, they're not naturally.

I’m so thankful that my mother taught me elegance. She’s so soft spoken, yet speaks up when someone is disrespectful to her, always has her hair and nails done, never shows more than one body part at a time, is very graceful and kind to everyone, very hospitable.

I would also add smoking, nothing elegant for a woman, nor even for a man.

He says that such a woman is "slushy." He will say things like, "I liked her, she was pretty, but she was just a bit too slushy for me." Trashy+Slutty = Slushy
