I absolutely agree on your opinion about fast fashion. Nowadays we have sales all year round. We are being seduced to buying more and more clothes. Fashion that can’t be sold is being recycled and that’s why the quality of the material gets so bad! The colours are also a giveaway. And this recycling absolutely has a negative effect on environment. Let’s start manufacturing less, so we don’t need to recycle clothes. Defenitely yes to more quality instead of quantity. But which brands are mid range? Together with the Zara video one of your best yet. Very informative and full of helpfull tips.

Personally not keen on the colors. I think you look better in bright, vibrant colors. Enjoyed the video. I go through Zara often, but rarely find anything. You are always able to find items there. I must have a different style.
Wonderful video! Fabric and fit are key, which is why I hardly ever shop online for clothing. I find creating a minimal wardrobe helpful so that one can afford better quality clothing. I love Jennifer from The Daily Connoisseur for sharing the 10 item wardrobe.
You re stunning and so smart. Actually now i understand why rich people unvest on extensive garnements like coats shoes warches
If you're looking for mid-range quality but perhaps a slightly lower price tag, try looking at Sezane. They're a French company that creates high quality pieces at a more manageable price. I'm currently saving up for a pair of pants from them 😊
I originally love Mango and Zara too. I mean I'm more Mango style if any. However, they have never delivered my size, and buying stuff from there would only make the tailor's job much harder. Personally, I started to make my own clothing. I love classic vintage skirts and coats, and all my measurements are very custom, I also wear corsets from time to time. I say nothing beats custom made and vintage classics. Also, I don't agree that neutrals equal classic. Many people with bright skin complexion won't look good in chromatics, blacks, and beiges.
Wow I love this series! I would love to see a shopping in Massimo Dutti video 😄😄
I bought a beautiful blouse there, nice material but the first time I washed became much shorter I followed the label instructions but I can’t wear outside my trousers anymore
I am single i need life partner i love you forever i like u i make you so so happy forever 💑💑❤❤😍😍🌷🌷
👌🏻😘
I've purchased Mango ribbed top and it does last longer... I mean the material is good for multiple washes (gentle washes preferably). But one thing I've noticed is the underarms area might tend to disappoint bc it undergo in contact of continues sweat and washes but that too after good multiple amount of usage. Mango is an affordable luxury
As an after thought Anna, would you please consider making a video on mid range brands and have curated looks according to seasons i.e. summer/spring, fall/autumn and winter. Thank you for your consideration, Maitri
I 100% agree with Anna in investing in quality pieces! I do that and with coats it is very true what she is saying. I buy only wool and cashmere coats and they truly last and are warm for fall in Canada.
I need to know what shoes to use please, thank you
I need the most help slimming my upper body so I buy high end shirts. Jeans I go mid range because I have nice legs and don't need the help. Purses I just go very basic with almost no bells or whistles. Shoes I go comfort yet sexy in mid to low range.
I love the concept of this video, we definitely need more! ❤
I love that you're supporting the end of fast fashion. I'm of the opinion you only need to buy like 1 or two pieces of clothing a year to either replace worn out things in your wardrobe or to keep up with your own evolving style. Going out and purchsing several things every few months is so wasteful. Bad for your image, bad for your wallet, bad for the economy (yes, buying 5 things at $2 each does not stimulate the economy like buying 1 thing that is $45), bad for laborers from the beginning of production to the guy who has to watch perfectly good shirts be thrown into a landfill, and bad for the environment when non-natural fibers don't break down.
I’ve always wondered are the cropped blazers elegant?? Even if it’s tweed?
Thanks for speaking out on fast fashion!! Love the video. Thank you Anna.
Oh yes! I love Mango 😍 Also Pomelo and Plains & Prints - the only brand I can afford Lol! 😂💛
i loved it when you said "Save yourself some money, and save some animals" I agree.
You're elegant and gorgeous as always, since the first video I have only watched from youtube recommended videos. Loving your videos Anna! I have become fond of your content since then.
Ladies, knowing how to take care of your clothes is a game changer. When I was in high school, I started doing my laundry by myself because my mom used to wash everything at high temperature. At that time, my budget only allowed me to purchase Zara every now and then. But I took good care of them and they lasted for more than 6 years. Always read the labels, wash at most at 30C. Use proper detergents. And I highly recommend air drying. Buy a small drying rack. Don’t use clips, just lay the clothes. Always hand wash your delicate garments while you take a shower. Make sure you have multiples of everything. At least 2 pairs of shoes, 2 dark colored tops, 2 light colored tops, 2 outerwear, etc. That way, you don’t end up using one item too much, and you don’t have to wash them too frequently. Show love to your clothes and they love you back :)
I like the point of the natural energy. My energy is sporty so i feel if i wear heels it really suits me!! Balances each other out :)
I save money to shop from Zara and Mango 😆😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you Anna. I become a addict to your videos.
What are some great examples of mid range stores? Thank you.
Can you tell which clothing brands are great. Or you think are amazing to buy... like maxmara for example.
You need to come out with your own clothing line please 🥰
Save some animaos. Cashmire are made by the pain the animals experience in the process. You are buying pain suffering stress cries
Many high end brands use the same materials or their clothes are made in the same countries as high street.. and that is the biggest disappointment. Having spend 300€ in something (Burberry for example) that is made in the same factory and country as Zara (India-Bangladesh-Marocco etc.) Mango is fantastic because it has many clothes that are so classic and they last for many years(tried and tested). Zara as well if you shop wisely and not get influenced by trends.
Part of my level up journey has been learning to repair my clothing and making minor tweaks to the fit. When buying any garment, pay attention to the stitching. Look for even secure stitches and how the seams are finished. This will be a good indication of a garment’s longevity.
You can often find pieces from mid-range brands on sale on sites like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom for the same price as something from Mango or Zara
Totally on the same page with you.
Love videos like this, Anna! Thank you for sharing your great finds!
My dear elegant lady could you please make a video about how to be elegant and expensive in corona time? PLEASE
What is good brand(s) for a mid range shirts/blouses?
All of us thinking Zara and Mango are mid-range brands 😂 ....so what brands are actually mid-range? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Can you guide me about mid range stores in jordan if you know any Many thanks
The fabric is one of the most important things to learn about the clothes, the way of washing too! If you learn these two things, you will stop buying trash and will start treating your clothes in the way it will last for long.
wow, this is such an eye-opener. Thank you for this video and Zara´s. It would be amazing if you show us brands with good, lasting clothes. I think all of your elegant ladies need you on this! Thank you for teaching us so much in every video and helping the planet. You are SO smart... I am so glad I found your channel.
What are some examples of mid-range brands
wow! you are really amazing. I completely agree with you. In the last year, I have buying my own materials from a quite elegant house in Johannesburg and then I send them to a clothing designed to make few dresses that I chose in advance and even I design some parts. It has being so fun.
5:20 thats a really interesting point about "feminine seductive" versus "classic/conservative femininity". I thought the elegant style wasn't for me because I'm more of an artsy punk rocker type, but I definitely think the feminine seductive aesthetic is me!
I wanna see her shop at H&M or Forever21
How do I choose colors for my skin tone ?
Where do u shop?
What exactly would you call mid-range? Because I have bought a shirt that I call mid-range before and I wasn't very happy about the quality.....
I must be expensive as I am from Kashmir 😉
Yes, I don’t like it when I buy something and after a few washes I have to put it in my goodbye pile. 😅
Can anyone recommend me any good brand of clothing with good quality that is also environment friendly?
What brands are mid range?
Hi! Do you know where we could go find mid-range clothes that will last? What do you recomend? 😊
You should write a book. You’re so perfect! I love all of your advice. ❤️
What shops do you pick your clothing and shoes from? Thank you! :)
Wearing unethical clothing... it does not matter what you wear. If slaves are employed to produce garments then you are wearing filthy rags.
I also struggle with finding pieces that last for a decent amount of time. These days even high end and luxury brands tend to offer lower quality than what's expected...
Hi Anna love your taste in clothes let us know where you buy them besides these you showed. you look amazing in pencil skirt. I personally can't wear long .. So true you have to wear something appropriate for who you are with and where you are going
Hi Anna love the pretty color of beige
What do you think about a woman who crafts her own clothing-not necessarily to save money but to skip the process of tailoring and instead plan a piece that fits perfectly? Could it be done in an elegant manner? I took sewing and quilting lessons when I younger, but haven’t sewn in a long time. I’m gradually practicing embroidery as a hobby, which has made me think of sewing clothing as hobby again.
Great Information!! I needed to see this 😅
Anna, please don't walk barefoot when you try clothes in the store.
My button up shirts from Forever21 held up better than my $100 Splendid shirt. Surprising.
Hi Ana! Have you ever done a video on how to care for shoes? I see other people's shoe racks and everything looks BRAND NEW, even the soles, whereas my shoes always look beaten up and dirty. I'm talking about day to day care, especially for walking shoes and sandals (not necessarily cheap, some sandals cost over $100). I live in a hot climate and don't have an office job so I'm typically wearing casual shoes and I still want them to look nice, as my friends' shoes do.
My summer wardrobe is usually where I purchase the less expensive lower quality one-season looks. You know like T-shirts. I realize the hot weather requires the garment to be washed more often, and deodorant may cause pit stains, they don't hold their shape, and I might not be the exact same size come the next summer (weight up or down), so I don't care if they are a few times wear. It is a time I can be more trendy too, but knowing there is a fine line to being trendy but looking gawdy and cheap with lower quality clothes. My higher end classics are usually for fall and winter.
Show us where u buy ur expensive clothes
Does she have any videos on her skin routine?
Love love you channel ❤️ I just join it ,, can’t wait to see more 😻
Fake leather is polyester and bad for the skin. I always go for real leather.
When you say go mid range, if you feel Mango and Zara are fast fashion, do you have a preference for a specific brand, store or designer?
I was too used to purchasing fast fashion, that my impression to ALL garments are that clothes will break one day and it doesn’t last. That is why I could never get myself to purchase anything expensive or branded, but I’ve learnt that luxury items are created with better material and good seam which will actually last longer!
Hi Anna! I came across your account yesterday (30th November) and I must have spent at least 6hours (already!) getting the best information there is out there on how to transition into a lady - I cannot thank you enough. I have been "stuck" in my early 20s for too many years and although I have tried to move away from that not so classy look I am still struggling. For my office wear I think I am almost there, however, when the weekend comes and my partner takes me out to a nice restaurant I am not sure what to wear. Unfortunately I am the victim of impulse buying and my wardrobe is full of items that have been worn once/ twice or never!! My partner loves short or not so covering dresses/ outfits on me and although I work hard to keep my body in its best shape, I sometimes feel uncomfortable revealing so much skin (although he goes crazy for that). We are going away to a warmer place for New Years and we will be staying at a high end hotel for the week with the celebrations taking part in a 2 Michelin star restaurant in the hotel - can you please do a video on what to wear on a special occasion in a high end restaurant/ resort etc? Much love x
First time I'm getting this much information about outfits in less time. A big thank you Mam♡
please can you do Uniqlo
Can we find something elegant in Bershka and Pull and Bear? haha very juvenile right?
i would love to see you shop from shein
How about Aritzia or Guess/Galliano? I usually handwash my non-cotton items (polyester, wool/cashmere), and I cant remember the last time Ive shopped in Zara, Mango, Uniqlo, F21, H&M. IDM Muji, but it definitely requires a tailor trip. I hate what I read in those fabric labels
Primark would be a nice challenge
please do New Look haul!!
What stores are considered midrange?
I like recommending non-animal derived fabrics. The wool industry is disgusting
Oh, dear! I don't think I fit here :( . I shot at New look.
So what's the expensive stores you recommend. As you said zara and mango not good news
Why wouldn't you like your calves?! They are great! I'm a Latin American woman and a woman's beauty "standard" over here is mostly centered in her hips, butt and legs... We def don't like the stick thin or hip-less look.
I'd like to watch a video about how to dress if you are a preschool teacher,I love wearing juvenile dresses and skirts without looking too old but I'd like to learn more
Elegant watch to purchase? Im saving money to get myself a Cartier TANK FRANÇAISE WATCH this month because that’s the only watch I can afford. I want to know if it’s an elegant watch to get? Thanks!
Dia should be every month series, but with various humble stores h&m, mango, zara, topshop
Please make a video with mid and high end brands 🌼
I have that same top from Mango. I always wash these types of shirts on a delicate cycle in a laundry bag and lay it flat it dry. I hate when you wash tops like this and just toss them in the dryer and it becomes a ball of wrinkles, or just throw it on a thin hanger damp only to find that the shoulders have stretched out. All knitwear should be hung on wide wooden hangers to prevent the shoulders from being stretched out.
Love the grey dress.
Which clothing brands does she recommended?
I like your videos. Though I mostly buy in thrift stores, I keep in mind some of your tips. When I go to stores (both physical and online), I tend to think that I can find something more affordable at much better condition at thrift stores. I find items like mango, zara, uniqlo, and some designer labels in great condition for a fraction of the price. I try to apply some of your reminders, although I still buy items that you don't approve. 🤣 All in all, your tips are so helpful. Thank you!
I do buy fake leather and fake fur I want to save all the animals I don't like ivory I want the 🐘 elephants to be saved lions 🐅 tigers 🐆 leopards cheetahs minks and 🐇 rabbits to be saved
Where or what stores do you recommend for mid-range clothes? Some stores have very expensive stores but the quality of the fabric is not that good.
Mango is expensive
Anna, please do more of these types of videos! I purchased the sweater from Mango and was very pleasantly surprised. I love the guidance you give in regards to fashion, please keep it coming.
I can’t believe you don’t like your calf muscles! I’m so envious!
You’re so right about fast fashion pollution! Also, so many fast fashion stores use child labor. I know I’d spend more just to stop that alone.
I'm so happy that you mentioned saving animals by buying a fake leather skirt.
Way cuter than Zara!
